About Up!Rotterdam
Up!Rotterdam is a programme by the City of Rotterdam that helps local startups and scale-ups grow. By improving access to talent, capital, and international markets, we support entrepreneurs who are building the sustainable, circular, and digital economy of the future.
As part of a small and energetic team, we work with ambitious founders, partners, and innovators across the city. And now, we’re looking for a creative and hands-on Online Marketing & Social Media Intern to help us tell their stories and grow our reach.
This is your opportunity to gain real experience, take ownership of projects, and work at the heart of Rotterdam’s innovation ecosystem.


What you’ll be doing
As our intern, you’ll work closely with the Up!Rotterdam team and the City of Rotterdam’s Marketing & Communications department. Your tasks will include:

• Designing visuals and writing (English) copy for our Linkedin, newsletters and write blogs for our website
• Managing our content calendar for LinkedIn, Instagram, and email newsletters
• Coordinating with our partners and ambassadors about social media content and planning
• Helping track performance and reporting on our key results (OKRs)
• Keeping our ecosystem and partner data up to date
• Conducting desk research on relevant startups, scale‑ups, and ecosystem events
• Representing Up! Rotterdam at ecosystem events and capturing live content
• Collaborating closely with the Marketing Lead and the broader Up! Rotterdam team to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
